Well since last Wednesday William has continued to do really well! He's only having 1 or 2 fits per day which is really good and is taking well to the new medicine. Last Thursday William was sick again straight after having his medicine. We think because the phenobarb is quite thick it's getting more stuck in his throat so we are putting this down the tube now but all his feeds are still oral which is great.![]() |

He's a really great little sleeper (sometimes sleeping a bit too much!) and we've started a bit more of a routine with him. He's been having a feed at about 8pm then we put him to bed. The first two nights he woke up between half 2 and half 3 for a night feed then went back to sleep till about 8! The third night he had different ideas. He decided to be very sad and grumpy and did not want to take his feed at 8 at all. We had a good hour of crying on and off with us panicking because we didnt know what was wrong! He's usually a very logical routine baby so we were a bit thrown. Then at 10pm he suddenly seemed fine again and had his bottle and went to sleep! He then slept till 7:30 the next morning!
On Saturday William had his first trip to the capital! Mummy had a voucher to spend at the Westfield shopping centre by Shepherd's Bush so we drove down to London and did some shopping! William was very well behaved and slept pretty much the whole time and picked himself up a couple of pairs of shoes and some sleepsuits.
He's back to his usual cheery self at the moment. He loves just lying on the sofa or under his play gym and wriggling around. He's gradually getting better at having his eyes open and making eye contact with us which is good.
William sends his love to nana and grandpa in Kansas and is excited to see he's now had a blog visitor from Germany! He thinks he's somewhat of an international star.
